Tomorrow is looking for a UX designer with an exceptional eye for detail, data, and strategy-based design-thinking, and strong visual vocabulary. The UX/UI designer should feel comfortable working independently as well as a key collaborator on Tomorrow’s team.

The role resides within the creative team and focuses on eCommerce website design, ongoing iteration and improvement based on data, and innovation and leadership in our field. A strong background and familiarity with eCommerce is a requirement, with a deep foundational expertise in eCommerce UX Best Practices across all elements of a website.

Projects range from information architecture, wireframing, navigation design, research-and-development of individual features and functionalities.



  • Externally - be aware of the eCommerce industry on the whole, new launches, technology ecosystem, and the competition - to help continue our drive to a position of leadership in New York, Nationally, and Internationally.
  • Internally - report directly to UX Director, collaborate with design and front-end technology teams, as well as lead your own projects.
  • Be a motivational resource to the design team and encouraging a positive morale from 1:1 meetings, departmentally, and cross-departmentally.
  • Collaborate across teams and within the creative department to continually improve our process where necessary.

UX/UI Designer

  • Ideate and execute on individual features and page design in general.
  • Deliver consistently high quality product by maintaining a meticulous eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Comprehensive understanding of our clients’ needs and their strategic and business objectives.
  • Interest or background in testing and optimization.
  • Skills or background in rapid prototyping.
  • Make decisions based on clear point of view, industry best-practice and experience, and interest in relevant research and data to support your decision-making.
  • Ensure all solutions work across all relevant viewport, leaning in particularly to the mobile experience.
  • Describe solutions clearly and concisely in all verbal and written communications with clients. Confidently engage with new and existing clients and lead new and ongoing client presentations.


  • A strong working knowledge of what goes into successful high-converting eCommerce experiences, and nuances and minutiae of eCommerce best practices.
  • Bonus points if your interested in visual design, but not a must-have.
  • Sophisticated use of industry tools and understanding of intuitive and responsive user experiences.
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years agency or in-house experience.
  • Experience in a diverse field of work including web design, testing, prototyping, research, and analytics.
  • Deep understanding of industry basic design principles and a passion for emerging technologies.
  • A deep understanding of how to move from pencil on paper to layout design to pixel-perfect handoff using tools such as Figma, Sketch, Invision, or Zeplin.
  • Expert communication and presentation skills with ability to clearly present work and articulate/advocate design rationale.
  • Collaborate with project managers to best plans ahead to ensure all deadlines are met and expectations are established to the client.
